Director of Children's House Montessori

My name is Miss Jahaira Boekhoudt Piña, and I am the proud director of Children’s House Montessori. My educational journey began with a degree in Social Studies (SPH) from the Netherlands, where I worked with children aged 4-12 from 2008 to 2012. Upon returning to Aruba, I expanded my experience by working at Casa Cuna, ImeldaHof and CMB.

In August 2015, my passion for Montessori education was ignited when I joined Nos Fortalesa Montessori as a Teaching Assistant. My commitment to the Montessori method led me to complete the Upper Elementary course for ages 9-12 the following year. For six enriching school years, I served as an Upper Elementary teacher, nurturing and guiding young minds.

In 2021, I took on the exciting challenge of opening our second location in Paradera, further extending our reach and impact. During this time, I also completed the Early Childhood program for ages 3-6, deepening my expertise and commitment to early childhood education.

In April 2024, after much dedication and hard work, Children’s House Montessori proudly achieved independent school status. This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching educational environment for our students. As we celebrate our accomplishments, August 2024 marks my 10th year as a Montessori educator. My journey has been one of growth, learning, and deep fulfillment, and I am excited to continue leading and inspiring our wonderful community at Children’s House Montessori.
